Final Voyage - Passenger & Crew Tribute

Matti Lammi
[submitted by Walter Hakanen]

He was a survivor and was in third class on his way to Finland to get his wife and family.  I'm wondering you could find his name on the passenger list for me. He lived a long and colorful life.  He survived three days on an ice floe in Lake Superior several years later when the ice he was fishing on broke off and started to float toward Canada.  After three days the wind shifted and blew him and two others with him back to the Michigan side.

He was a good friend of my fathers and I enjoyed listening to his stories.
