Final Voyage - Passenger & Crew Tribute

The Farr Children of Regina, Saskatchewan
[submitted by Beverley Pinske]

I've just found out that I was related to four little girls that died in the wreck.  They were ages five through ten, and were with their grandmother's housekeeper.  Their father had died in a barroom brawl six months before their mother, who had just died in childbirth, which is the reason they were heading to their maternal grandparents' in the company of their housekeeper.

The infant, Walter Farr, went on to become a war correspondant.  I believe the girls were Evelyn, Kathleen, Barbara, and Louise Farr.   There were three other sisters (Edna, Mary, and Jean) - if I have them out of order, then it will be some other four of the seven girls.  The children were my first cousins, three times removed.
