On May 25th while diving in Tobermory, Michel was taken away from us due to a rebreather malfunction at the age of 42. His wife Linda, Melanie, close friends and many divers far and wide that will miss Michel dearly.
I've never before seen a person as enthusiastically driven by the science of scuba diving. Michel studied every aspect of the sport.
Michel was on the Canadian Coast Guard Auxiliary, a dive instructor with TDI, a cave diver, dive crew member with Undersea Explorers TV Show, has made numerous dives to the Empress of Ireland and participated in several SeaView Imaging videos about Great Lakes shipwrecks.

While working for Undersea Explorers TV, he traveled to many distant diving destinations around the world such as Australia, Egyptian Red Sea, CoCos Island, Truk Lagoon, Caymans, and the Key West: shipwreck "Wilkes Barre". He worked as a lighting technician, camera operator, logistics manager and dive supervisor. This kept him very busy since his full time job was with the Bank of Montreal as Senior Communications Engineer.
