The Pulse 12 is the most powerful boat towed metal detector available. The Pulse 12 is in use by military, law enforcement, commercial, and salvage divers world wide. High sensitivity and an extra large detection area make this detector an excellent choice for both commercial operations and professional treasure hunters.

The claim-to-fame of this pulse induction metal detector is its ability to ignore minerals in the environment while maintaining high sensitivity to all metal targets. The Pulse 12 is not affected by highly mineralized salt water, coral, high iron content rocks, or magnetic (black) sand, all of which drive conventional detectors crazy. Also, the detection range is unaffected by the medium between the metal detector and the metal target. Performance does not change whether detecting through air, water, silt, sand, or solid coral.

The Pulse 12 system includes a 24x36 inch search coil with attached 150 feet of cable, tow fish, and a top-side control unit. The control unit features three sets of operator controls which allow up to three coils to be towed simultaneously. Both meter and audio readouts to indicate target detection from each individual coil. Options include 300 foot tow cable, UA-2 altimeter, and RS232 data output. The system is powered by two 12 volt batteries with a total power consumption of only 12 watts.

Option Descriptions:

Extra Coil, Cable and Fish:
The Pulse 12 system can operate up to 3 towfish. The base Pulse 12 system includes a master control unit and one coil/150 ft cable/fish assembly. Up to 2 additional coil/cable/fish assemblies can be added, for a total of three. With the same amount of time, fuel, and manpower, three times the search area can be covered than when using a single coil.

300' Cable:
For towing at deeper depths, the Pulse 12 can be purchased with an additional 150 feet of cable for a total cable length of 300 feet

500' cable and depth capability:

DDW-1 Deep Dive Wing (depressor wing for deep water towing):

RS232 Output Interface:
This option converts the Pulse 12 readout information into a format (ASCII) that can be read by a computer (interface cable provided). Included with this option is an input jack on the Pulse 12 control box where your GPS system can be connected. The Pulse 12 readout information and the boat's GPS position can then be sent to the computer. It is necessary to have software for your computer, which allows the input information to be displayed, manipulated, and stored

0-5 vdc analog output:
0-5vdc analog output option provides the Pulse 12 readout information in a form for input into a chart recorder.
