CABLE INFORMATION:
Some users may have connecting cables with bare wires at the PC end. The following diagram, courtesy of Dr. Thomas Vonesch of Switzerland, illustrates the connections for a Garmin 45. Other GPS receivers will have different wire colors, but the functions remain the same for pins 2, 3 and 5.
